We have now scanned some pictures from the beginning of the wonderful life of Tyyra. The pictures can be found here.

As you can see, Tyyra liked the toys very much from the early ages….

In other news, Tyyra is still doing really well. The fall went fine, and the beginning of the winter has been “eventful”.

As last winter, there are some reindeers in the neighborhood, so of course Tyyra is more than eager to go for a walk. She can find them almost every time…

In a more painful news, a visiting dog showed Tyyra that it’s best to let sometimes the guests alone. No big harm done, but let’s just hope that Tyyra learned the lesson…

Also, we are going to get Tyyra her own passport, so we can take her along if we ever go abroad on vacations.

There’s now one month to the new year, no plan has been done yet but we hope it would be a smooth as last year…

It’s been a while since the last update, so I thought it’s time to do it…

Tyyra is at the moment enjoying the summer, especially when it’s warm and she gets to go swimming. This week we went one day to a cottage and Tyyra was about 2 hours in the water. No need to say that she almost slept the whole following day…

Here are some pictures and movies from this year, and as you can notice, the “beeping” noise of the toy is really important to Tyyra….

Going from 2008 to 2009 went smoothly this year for Tyyra. We went again during the day to the forest, but as you can see here, a winter storm arrived as we were there. Wind was really strong and snow falling, but that was not a bad thing, as during the evening, we didn’t hear that much fireworks as last year.

We also had some friends visiting, and with all the noise inside, the wind outside, and all the “meds” that Tyyra took, she was sleeping most of the time. By meds, I mean we gave “Serene UM” to Tyyra, and had “D.A.P.” also in the flat dispensing the tranquilizing pheromone. This combination worked well, Tyyra didn’t really pay attention to the fireworks from outside…

With the new toy, Tyyra showed us a new trick… It was a one and only time performance, and it’s good we captured it on camera…

Yes, it’s summer holidays and Tyyra can finally do what she likes a lot: swim

We got also some visitors with their dog Milo who was very found of Tyyra… You can see them play in the following video

After that, we went to see the same guests at the cottage, and although the water wasn’t too hot (only 14 degrees), Tyyra didn’t want to get out…

Tyyra could also be a movie star, as you see in the next video the way she acts as if it was a big drama after we cleaned her ears…

And finally, Tyyra seems to like the juggling balls… No need to write more, the next video explains it all…

Almost 2 weeks ago on a Sunday, we went on a walk in the forest at Vaattunkiköngäs. That was the last time of this winter when we could go and walk on the snow in the forest. It was already really soft at some places, as you can see even Tyyra had difficulties sometimes and since then, almost all snow if gone.

Tyyra is now officially in the veteran class (8 years old). Yesterday was the D day, and to celebrate it, she got a new toy (a lamb) and of course a special “cake”, made of ham, cucumber and reindeer ribs.
